Host/Hostess : Line Cook : Server : Busser : Dishwasher : Salad/Cashier/Expediter
Host/Hostess
Welcome and warmly greet guests on arrival. Manage the efficient and timely seating of our guests to a table that best serves their wishes.

• Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival.
• When immediate seating is limited, record guest names and number of people in party and provide them with an estimated wait time.
• Offer to get them a drink while they are waiting and record the drink/s next to their name. Inform server of order once they have been seated.
• Call out name and number of party when tables become available.
• Accommodate special seating requests for guests whenever possible.
• Seat guest guests based on guest preferences and balancing of customer flow in service stations.
• Upon seating, offer guests a menu and wine list. Inspect table for proper presentation and completeness.
• Relay messages to servers and bussers as needed.
• Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
Qualifications:
• No previous restaurant experience required.
• Be able to working in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
• Be able to communicate clearly and effectively in the predominant language(s) of our guests.
• Must have exceptional grooming habits.
Line Cook
This position reports to the General Manager. All cooks will be trained to create best in class products consistently across the range of the Stone Hearth Pizza co.’s full menu and according to the Stone Hearth Pizza co’s recipes and specifications. The areas of responsibility include but will not be limited to:
- Hand-stretching dough
- Dressing pizzas
- Cooking pizzas in the 600 degree Woodstone oven
- Clean all equipment at each station
- Change out all Mise en Place (MEP) into clean containers to be wrapped, labeled and dated after each shift
- Organize walk-in daily using FIFO inventory control method
- Pay range: $9-12/hour
Server
This position reports to the General Manager.
The areas of responsibility include but will not be limited to:
- Serving all food to customers
- Clearing and changing over all table
- Cash out customers at non-peak times
- Serve all wine, beer, soda and bottled water
- Pay range: $2.65 - $2.85/hour + Tips
Salad/Cashier/Expediter
This position reports to the General Manager.
The areas of responsibility include but will not be limited to:
- Prepare Mise en Place (MEP) prior to each shift requiring washing lettuce, chopping vegetables and mixing dressings
- Make and plate all salads according to the Stone Hearth Pizza co’s recipes and specifications
- Prepare drawer prior to each shift
- Cash out all customers
- Expedite and stage orders coming out of oven – group by table
- Pay range: $9-12/hour
Busser
This position reports to the General Manager.
The areas of responsibility include but will not be limited to:
- Clear and reset all tables
- Wipe down all sneeze guards and restrooms before service
- Clean front & back door before each shift
- Pay range: $4-5/hour + Tips
Dishwasher
This position reports to the General Manager and will be responsible for the tasks listed below as well as others that will arise during the course of business
- Mop dining room floor before opening each day
- Clean machine, mop floor upstairs and downstairs
- Clean all dishes, pots, pans and glasses
- Return all clean items to dish storage area
- Return dish room and mop closet to original clean starting condition at the end of each shift
- Mop and wash all restrooms as needed by no less than once per shift
- Pay range: $8-9/hour
